Kurkentrekker Westmark 60202270 basiscorkentrekker, staal, 173×63×37 mm

Manual basic corkscrew Westmark 60202270 made of steel. Compact dimensions (173×63×37 mm) make this hand corkscrew suitable for home kitchens, bars and outdoor gatherings. The tool combines a steel body with a spiral helix and an integrated cap lifter, enabling removal of natural or plastic corks and opening of bottles with crown caps. Operated by turning the helix into the cork and then using the lever arms to extract the cork smoothly.

Advantages

The steel construction provides durability and resistance to regular use, while the compact size keeps the corkscrew easy to store and transport. The integrated cap lifter increases versatility by allowing both corked bottles and crown-capped bottles to be opened with one tool. The simple mechanical design requires no power source and offers reliable, repeatable operation.

Suitable for

• Home kitchens and dining
• Bars and restaurants with occasional corked bottles
• Outdoor use: picnics and small gatherings
• Mobile catering and hospitality where compact tools are preferred

Key specifications

• Material: steel body and helix
• Overall dimensions: height 173 mm × width 63 mm × depth 37 mm
• Type: manual lever corkscrew with spiral (helix)
• Integrated cap lifter for crown caps

How to use

Place the helix over the centre of the cork and rotate it clockwise until the spiral is securely embedded. As the helix penetrates, the lever arms will lift. Once the helix is fully inserted, press the arms together to extract the cork from the bottle. To open crown-capped bottles, use the built-in cap lifter feature and pry off the cap. Rinse and dry after use to maintain the steel finish.

Recommendations

For best results, position the helix centrally on the cork and turn steadily to avoid tearing. Apply even pressure when pressing the arms together to extract the cork straight out. After use, hand wash with mild detergent, dry immediately and store in a dry place to prevent surface oxidation.
