KWB metselaarstouw 1,7 mm wit 50 m - slaglijn voor uitzetten en markeren

The KWB Mason line 1.7 mm white 50 m is a chalk line designed for accurate layout and marking in building and DIY projects. The product features a 1.7 mm thick white cord wound on a 50 m reel, intended to provide clear, consistent chalk lines on walls, floors and other construction surfaces. The compact reel housing keeps the cord protected and makes handling and storage straightforward while enabling quick deployment of a straight guide line for alignment, tiling, framing and general positioning tasks.

Advantages

The 1.7 mm white cord produces visible, fine lines suitable for a variety of substrates and lighting conditions. A 50 m length reduces the need to re-spool during large layout jobs. The compact reel design improves portability and protects the cord from dirt and damage. The chalk line is compatible with standard chalk powders and delivers repeatable results for professional and home use.

Key specifications

How to use

Draw chalk into the reel or apply chalk powder to the cord according to the chalk manufacturer’s instructions. Secure the reel at one end of the intended line, pull the cord taut to the opposite anchor point, and snap the cord against the surface to leave a straight chalk mark. Rewind the cord onto the reel after use to protect the line and prolong service life. For best results keep the cord clean and avoid dragging it across rough debris that could fray the fibres.

Recommendations

Use compatible chalk powders to ensure line visibility on the chosen substrate and store the reel in a dry place to prevent moisture-related chalk clumping. For long-term accuracy on critical jobs, check the cord for wear before use and replace if frayed.
