Mason Line KWB 922125 is a 2 mm thick white guideline cord, 50 m long, designed for masonry and general construction layout. The cord delivers a straight, visible reference for aligning bricks, blocks and tiles and for checking levels across short and medium distances. Lightweight and easy to handle, this guideline is suitable for use on building sites, renovation projects and DIY tasks where clear, durable alignment is required.

Advantages

The 2 mm diameter offers a balance of strength and flexibility, resisting fraying while remaining easy to tension between anchors. Its white colour provides clear contrast on most surfaces and helps visibility in varied lighting conditions. The 50 m length covers common wall and foundation runs without the need for frequent re-joining. The cord is lightweight for easy transport and rapid setup, and it can be knotted or attached to pegs and clamps without specialized tools.

How to use

Secure one end of the cord to a fixed point at the desired datum, extend the cord to the opposite anchor and tension until straight. Use pegs, clamps or masonry nails to hold the line at intermediate points as needed. For bricklaying, position the cord at the face or bed line to maintain consistent course height; for tiling or paving, align the cord with the intended edge or grid. After use, coil the cord neatly to prevent tangling and store in a dry place to preserve material integrity.

Recommendations

Inspect the cord for wear or fraying before each use and replace if damage is found. Avoid prolonged exposure to sharp edges and abrasive surfaces to extend the service life. Use contrast markers or chalk on very light or very dark backgrounds to improve visibility when required.
