LAMY studio balpen Orion mat zwarte inkt 1239884

The LAMY studio ballpoint pen in Orion Matt stands apart from typical metal pens through its seamless fusion of sculptural form and everyday function. Designed by Hannes Wettstein, its cylindrical stainless steel body is coated in a soft matte lacquer that resists fingerprints while offering a warm, tactile grip. The polished steel grip section adds a subtle contrast, guiding the fingers naturally toward the page. A propeller-shaped, twisted clip lends a dynamic, architectural accent, making the pen as much a statement piece as a writing tool.

In daily use

From quick notes to signing documents, the studio ballpoint pen delivers reliable performance. The twist mechanism operates with a satisfying click, and the balanced weight of the metal body reduces hand fatigue. The black M16 refill glides smoothly, producing clean, dark lines that dry quickly. The matte finish not only looks sophisticated but also provides a secure grip, even during extended writing. The robust construction ensures it withstands the rigours of daily carry, while the distinctive clip keeps it securely fastened to pockets or notebooks.
