Laptop-accu HP HSTNN-DB7D 90Wh 9-cellen lithium-ion voor compatibele HP notebooks

Rechargeable laptop battery HP HSTNN-DB7D is a 90Wh, 9-cell lithium-ion battery pack designed as a replacement power source for compatible HP notebooks. It provides extended runtime for mobile work, presentations and travel while maintaining a balance between capacity and weight. The battery uses standard lithium‑ion chemistry to deliver stable voltage and predictable discharge characteristics typical for notebook power systems.

Advantages

The 90Wh capacity offers longer operation between charges compared with lower-capacity cells, reducing the need for frequent recharging during extended use. The 9-cell configuration improves energy density for sustained performance under typical laptop loads. Being a direct replacement for compatible HP models, the battery integrates with existing charging and power management systems to support battery level reporting and charging control. The lithium-ion chemistry ensures a combination of energy efficiency and rechargeability suitable for daily portable use.

Suitable for

• Mobile professionals needing longer battery life for on-the-go work
• Presentations and meetings where AC power may be limited
• Travel and remote work requiring extended unplugged operation
• Replacing worn or degraded original notebook batteries

Key specifications

• Battery type: Lithium‑ion
• Cell count: 9-cell configuration
• Rated capacity: 90Wh
• Typical application: Compatible HP notebook models requiring a 9-cell 90Wh battery
• Function: Rechargeable internal notebook battery providing DC power to the laptop

How to use

Turn off the notebook and disconnect the AC adapter before removing the old battery. Follow the notebook manufacturer’s instructions to unlock and remove the existing battery pack, then install the replacement battery in the correct orientation until it locks in place. Reconnect the AC adapter and allow the battery to charge fully before first use to ensure accurate capacity reporting. Use the operating system’s battery and power management utilities to verify charge status and adjust power settings for optimal runtime.

Recommendations

For best results, operate and store the battery within the notebook manufacturer’s recommended temperature range, avoid prolonged storage at full charge, and perform regular charge-discharge cycles to maintain capacity. Replace the battery when runtime no longer meets your requirements or when diagnostics indicate significant capacity loss.
