Laptop bovenschaal met toetsenbord HP N93088-131 — zwart

Replacement laptop top cover with integrated keyboard for HP, model N93088-131, in black. This component combines the palm rest, keyboard assembly and surrounding bezel into a single top housing unit designed to match the original fit and layout of compatible HP notebooks. It restores the main user interface area after damage, wear or key failure and helps preserve internal components by providing correct mounting points for the keyboard and touchpad.

Advantages

The integrated top cover with keyboard delivers a factory-style layout and tactile response similar to the original HP assembly, reducing installation complexity by combining multiple parts into one unit. Its black finish maintains the laptop’s aesthetic while replacing damaged or worn surfaces. The single-piece design simplifies alignment and screw locations, facilitating quicker repairs and reducing the risk of misaligned components.

Suitable for

• Repairing laptops with cracked, scratched or otherwise damaged top housings
• Replacing non-functional or missing keys and keyboard units
• Refurbishment projects to restore a laptop’s appearance and typing area
• Service operations where a full top assembly swap is faster than separate part replacements

How to use

Before installation, power off the laptop, disconnect any external power sources and remove the battery if accessible. Remove the bottom cover and disconnect internal connectors necessary to free the original top cover and keyboard, following the service manual or a step-by-step disassembly guide for the specific HP model. Transfer any functional components such as the touchpad, speakers or ribbon cables if they are not pre-installed, then align the new top cover and secure it with the original screws and clips. Reconnect internal cables, replace the bottom cover and reinstall the battery and power on the laptop to verify keyboard and touchpad operation.

Recommendations

Handle the keyboard ribbon cable and internal connectors carefully to avoid damage. Use a magnetic or soft-tipped screwdriver to prevent scratching the finish and ensure screws are tightened to a firm but not excessive torque. If unsure about disassembly, consult an authorized service provider or follow manufacturer service documentation to avoid voiding warranties and ensure correct installation.
