Schuurband Metabo 626348000 10 stuks 13 mm x 457 mm

The Metabo 626348000 sanding belt set contains ten narrow belts, each 13 mm wide and 457 mm long, intended for use with compatible belt sanders and detail sanders. These abrasive belts are designed to deliver consistent material removal and smoothing on small surfaces, edges, and profiles. The set provides spare belts to maintain workflow continuity and reduce downtime during sanding tasks.

Advantages

These sanding belts offer uniform grit distribution across the abrasive surface to provide even sanding performance. The narrow 13 mm width suits precision work in tight spaces and on narrow components, while the 457 mm length fits many compact sanding tools. Having ten belts in the set ensures immediate replacements are available, helping maintain consistent finish quality over multiple work sessions.

Suitable for

• Finishing and smoothing wood edges and mouldings
• Removing paint, varnish, or rust from small areas
• Shaping and deburring metal or plastic components
• Detail sanding in cabinetry, furniture repair, and model making

Key specifications

• Quantity: 10 belts per set
• Width: 13 mm
• Length: 457 mm
• Abrasive type: cloth-backed sanding belt (abrasive grain unspecified)
• Intended use: dry sanding of wood, metal, and plastic surfaces

How to use

Select a sanding belt that matches the required grit for the task and ensure the belt size (13 mm x 457 mm) fits your machine. Turn off and unplug the sander before fitting a belt. Release the tensioning mechanism, mount the belt so the abrasive grain faces the workpiece and the tracking direction is correct, then re-tension according to the sander manufacturer’s instructions. Start sanding with light, consistent pressure and move the tool steadily along the workpiece to avoid gouging. Replace the belt when wear reduces sanding effectiveness or when abrasive material becomes clogged.

Recommendations

Use appropriate personal protective equipment, including eye protection, dust mask and hearing protection. For clean results, work with the correct grit progression and avoid excessive pressure. Store unused belts flat in a dry environment to prevent deformation or moisture damage.
