Laptop-dock ROLINE 12.02.1037

The ROLINE 12.02.1037 laptop dock provides a compact, wired USB-C expansion solution for notebooks and tablets with USB-C ports. Using USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C connectivity, the dock enables fast data transfer while adding multiple interfaces including SD and MicroSD card slots, two USB Type-A ports and a single HDMI output. It is bus-powered over the host USB connection and comes in a silver finish that blends with modern laptop designs.

Advantages

The dock extends a single USB-C port to multiple commonly used interfaces without the need for an external power adapter. USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C support offers high-speed data throughput for connected storage and peripherals. Built-in SD and MicroSD card readers simplify media transfer from cameras and mobile devices, while the HDMI port allows connection to an external display. A dedicated Ethernet port provides a wired network option when wireless connections are unreliable. The compact silver housing supports convenient desktop placement and portability.

How to use

Connect the dock to a compatible laptop or tablet using the USB-C cable. Once connected, the host system should detect the dock and its attached interfaces; follow any on-screen prompts to install drivers if required. Insert SD or MicroSD cards into the corresponding slots to access media, attach USB devices to the Type-A ports for peripherals or storage, and connect an HDMI cable from the dock to an external monitor for video output. Plug an Ethernet cable into the RJ-45 port to use a wired network connection.

Recommendations

Use the dock on a stable surface and avoid inserting or removing cards and cables while large file transfers are in progress. For optimal video performance, use an HDMI cable and monitor that support the resolution and refresh rate required by your workflow. Keep the host device's USB-C port unobstructed and ensure the system's USB drivers are up to date for reliable operation.
