Laptop-dock Satechi ST-HXRAJM — USB 3.2 Gen 2 (Type-C), 100W PD, grijs

Satechi ST-HXRAJM is a compact laptop dock that connects via USB 3.2 Gen 2 (Type‑C) to expand a laptop or compatible device’s connectivity. The grey aluminium-style unit draws power over USB Type‑C and supports USB Power Delivery up to 100 W, enabling pass-through charging for host systems while providing additional ports for peripherals and external displays. Weighing approximately 15.9 g, the dock is designed for portable workstations, travel, and mobile setups where a small, lightweight port replicator is required.

Advantages

The dock offers USB 3.2 Gen 2 bandwidth for high-speed data transfers and supports USB Power Delivery up to 100 W to keep laptops charged while in use. Its compact grey housing is lightweight and easy to carry, allowing users to expand connectivity without adding significant bulk. Compatibility with devices that support USB‑C makes it suitable for a wide range of modern laptops, tablets and phones that accept host-mode USB connections.

Suitable for

• Expanding ports on USB‑C equipped laptops and tablets
• Mobile professionals who need a compact port replicator for travel
• Users who require USB Power Delivery pass-through charging up to 100 W
• Connecting peripherals and external storage that benefit from USB 3.2 Gen 2 speeds

Key specifications

• Host interface: USB 3.2 Gen 2 (Type‑C)
• Power delivery: up to 100 W via USB Power Delivery
• Power source type: USB (bus‑powered with PD pass-through)

How to use

Connect the dock to a compatible host device using the integrated USB‑C connector. If charging is required, connect a USB‑C PD charger to the dock’s power input so the dock can pass through power to the host device up to 100 W. Attach external peripherals, storage devices, or displays to the dock’s available ports as needed. Ensure the host device supports the relevant USB‑C modes (data, power delivery, and display output where applicable) for full functionality.

Recommendations

Use a USB‑C charger rated for the laptop’s required wattage to achieve full 100 W pass-through charging. For optimal data transfer speeds, connect devices that support USB 3.2 Gen 2 and use quality cables. Verify host device compatibility with USB‑C power delivery and alternate modes (such as DisplayPort over USB‑C) before relying on display output or high-wattage charging.
