Laptopslot Kensington slank resetbare combinatie K60628WW

The Kensington Slim Resettable Combination K60628WW is a cable lock designed for laptops with a standard security slot. The lock pairs an extra-thick 6.5 mm carbon-steel cable with a slim lockhead so the laptop can lie flat and stable while remaining secured. The 1.8 m cable is sheathed in an anti-shearing plastic sleeve to resist cutting and to protect device surfaces. The lock includes a resettable four-digit combination and Kensington’s Register & Retrieve™ service for combination recovery. It is engineered and tested to meet strict strength and durability standards and carries a five-year warranty.

Advantages

The 6.5 mm carbon-steel cable provides a high level of resistance to cutting attempts while the anti-shearing plastic sleeve reduces wear and protects laptop surfaces. The slim lockhead design allows access to ports and lets the laptop sit flat on a desk. A resettable four-number code offers up to 10,000 combinations for personalized security, and one-handed pivot-and-rotate operation simplifies attachment. Register & Retrieve™ enables secure online registration and recovery of the combination. The product is backed by Kensington’s engineering, strength testing, and a five-year warranty.

How to use

Thread the cable around a fixed, immovable object and insert the lockhead into the laptop’s standard security slot. Set or confirm the four-digit combination according to the included instructions, then engage the lockhead until it clicks. Use the pivot-and-rotate head to position the cable conveniently; the one-handed operation makes attaching and detaching straightforward. If you forget the combination, use Kensington’s Register & Retrieve™ service to recover it (registration required).

Recommendations

For best results, secure the cable to a solid, immovable fixture and avoid placing excessive stress on the lock or cable. Regularly inspect the sleeve and lock mechanism for wear and register your combination with Kensington’s Register & Retrieve™ service to enable recovery if needed.
