Key specifications

• Connector: Locking 3.5 mm TRS
• Microphone type: Omni lavalier, 4.5 mm capsule
• Cable: Kevlar®-reinforced
• Accessories: Foam pop shield, mounting clip with cable management
• Compatible with: RØDELink wireless range and most recorders with 3.5 mm locking mic input

How to use

Attach the lavalier to clothing using the supplied mounting clip, route the cable through the clip’s cable management to prevent movement noise, and fit the foam pop shield over the capsule when necessary to reduce wind and plosive sounds. Insert the locking TRS connector into a compatible transmitter or recorder until it locks to ensure a secure electrical and mechanical connection. Position the microphone on the subject (typically on the chest or lapel) to achieve clear vocal capture while keeping it discreet.

Recommendations

For best results, place the microphone 15–20 cm below the mouth on the chest or lapel and use the foam pop shield outdoors or in windy conditions. Verify the locking mechanism is engaged to avoid accidental disconnection during recording. Avoid sharp bends at the connector to extend cable life.
