The Varta Work Flex Black 250 lm is a compact LED work light designed for task-focused illumination in workshops, garages, and outdoor settings. The lamp runs on standard AA batteries, allowing quick power replacement on the go and broad compatibility with readily available cells.

Advantages

The COB LED provides uniform output with minimal glare and good color rendering for detailed tasks. Rated IPX4, the unit withstands splashing water and light rain, making it suitable for use in varied environments. Battery operation with AA cells ensures simple logistics and easy swapping without the need for specialised rechargeable packs. Its black finish and compact form factor make it convenient to position, mount or carry.

How to use

Insert the required AA batteries following the polarity markings in the battery compartment. Switch the light on using the power control and adjust the position of the lamp to illuminate the work area. For task lighting, hold or place the light so the beam covers the required surface; for hands-free work, use any built-in stand, clip or magnetic mounting if present. Turn the lamp off and remove batteries if storing for extended periods to prevent leakage.

Recommendations

Use alkaline or recommended high-capacity AA cells for longer runtime and replace batteries when output noticeably dims. Avoid direct immersion in water despite the IPX4 rating; clean the housing with a damp cloth and store in a dry place. Allow the unit to cool between extended operation periods to maintain LED performance.
