Legbord Inter-Tech 88887344

The Inter-Tech 88887344 rack shelf is a 19" accessory designed for 2U rack systems. Finished in RAL 9005 black, the shelf measures 480 mm wide, 300 mm deep and 89 mm high, and weighs approximately 1.59 kg. It provides a stable platform for mounting non-rack-mountable devices and accessories inside server or network cabinets.

Advantages

The steel shelf offers a compact footprint suitable for shallow rack depths and a load-bearing surface for equipment that does not have its own 19" mounting ears. Its black RAL 9005 finish matches common rack interiors and helps maintain a consistent appearance. The product is lightweight for simple installation while remaining sturdy enough for typical rack-mounted peripherals.

Suitable for

• Installing small servers, storage devices or appliances without rack ears
• Organising network switches, power distribution units and peripherals inside a 2U space
• Providing a platform for tools, spare parts or cable management accessories within a cabinet

How to use

Mount the shelf in a 19" 2U position inside the rack using compatible rack screws and cage nuts or threaded rails. Centre the shelf horizontally and secure it at the front and rear mounting points to ensure stable support. Place equipment on the shelf so that weight is evenly distributed and avoid overloading beyond the rack or shelf load limits specified by the cabinet manufacturer.

Recommendations

For safe operation, confirm cabinet rail ratings and use appropriate fasteners. Regularly check mounting points and redistribute loads if you change installed equipment. Avoid placing heat-sensitive components directly on the shelf without ventilation clearance.
