The Legrand 3701 is an electrical distribution board accessory designed to integrate with residential and light-commercial switchboards. Its compact size—76 mm wide, 94 mm deep and 20 mm high—allows installation in confined spaces and on DIN-rail compatible panels. Sold individually, the accessory is intended to enhance the organization and functionality of distribution enclosures by providing a slim, space-saving solution for mounting or adapting additional components.

Advantages

The accessory's compact dimensions make it suitable for installations where space is limited while preserving access to adjacent devices. Its standardized form factor supports straightforward mounting in distribution boards, reducing installation time and enabling tidy cable routing. Because it is a single-item offering, it can be supplied as a spare part or added where incremental upgrades are needed without replacing larger assemblies.

How to use

Install the accessory into the distribution board according to the enclosure manufacturer's guidelines and local electrical regulations. Position the unit where its 76 × 94 × 20 mm footprint fits without obstructing neighboring modules. Secure the part using appropriate fastening points or DIN-rail clips as required, then route cables to maintain clearance and accessibility for circuit breakers, switches and other devices. Finalize installation by checking all mechanical fixings and verifying that wiring remains compliant with safety standards before re-energizing the panel.

Recommendations

Use this accessory in panels that match its form factor and ensure compatibility with existing mounting rails and neighboring devices. For safety, have installations and modifications performed or inspected by a qualified electrician and follow applicable national wiring regulations.
