Leitz IQ OptiMax Home Office 225 microsnijder papierversnipperaar veiligheidsniveau P5 15 L – wit

The Leitz IQ OptiMax Home Office 225 is a compact micro‑cut paper shredder designed for secure document disposal in home and small office environments. Certified to security level P5, it cuts up to 6 sheets of A4 at a time into micro‑cut particles and features a 15 L rotating bin that increases usable capacity. The unit combines quiet operation, a modern compact design and an intuitive LED display for easy, reliable everyday use.

Advantages

Bin Rotation Technology (BRT) increases bin capacity by approximately 45% and ensures even paper distribution so the shredder can accept more sheets before indicating full. The shredder operates quietly, suitable for shared living spaces, and offers 20 minutes of continuous runtime for consistent shredding. An LED indicator alerts to bin full, door open, overheat and overload states. The 15 L bin holds up to 225 x A4 sheets and is illuminated with a blue light during operation for clear visual feedback.

Suitable for

• Home office document shredding
• Personal confidential paper disposal
• Small shared workspaces and apartments

How to use

Place the shredder on a stable, level surface and ensure the bin is correctly seated before switching on. Feed paper into the slot, up to the specified maximum of 6 A4 sheets at a time, and allow the unit to complete the cycle. If the LED indicates overload, remove excess material and restart. Empty the bin when the bin full indicator illuminates; with BRT the indicator activates at full capacity to avoid premature emptying. Allow the unit to cool if the overheat indicator appears.

Recommendations

For best results, remove staples and paper clips where possible and avoid continuous shredding beyond the 20 minute runtime. Keep the shredder on a stable surface and empty the bin when indicated to maintain performance and prolong the life of the product.
