Lenovo IBM L CRD GE (FRU42T5114) dual-port Gigabit Ethernet PCIe-netwerkkaart

Many business desktops and workstations ship with a single Gigabit Ethernet port, which limits network redundancy, link aggregation, or separating traffic for virtual machines. The Lenovo IBM L CRD GE (FRU42T5114) adds two independent Gigabit Ethernet ports over a PCI Express x4 slot, using the proven Intel 82571EB controller. It fits full-height expansion slots in ThinkCentre, ThinkStation, and other PCIe-compatible systems, and supports low-profile brackets when needed.

Who is it for

IT administrators and power users who need to add reliable dual-port Gigabit connectivity to a server, workstation, or desktop. It is suitable for virtualized environments, network segmentation, or simply adding a spare port for failover.

Main features

• Dual RJ-45 Gigabit Ethernet ports with auto-negotiation and full-duplex support
• PCI Express x4 interface, compatible with PCIe 1.0a and higher slots
• Intel 82571EB controller with Virtual Machine Device Queues (VMDq) for virtualization
• Supports jumbo frames, VLAN tagging, PXE boot, and link aggregation (teaming)
• Full-height bracket, with low-profile bracket commonly available

Tips

Check your system's PCIe slot availability before ordering. For low-profile cases, ensure a compatible low-profile bracket is included or available separately. Install the latest Intel network drivers from the Lenovo support site for full functionality.
