LevelOne 12dBi 2.4GHz richtpaneelantenne, binnen/buiten

The LevelOne WAN-2121 is a directional 2.4 GHz antenna designed for IEEE 802.11b/g/n wireless applications. With a gain of 12 dBi and an N-type 50 Ω connector, it supports extended point-to-point coverage while keeping wind loading low. The antenna can be installed indoors or outdoors; the outdoor model features a weatherproof housing that withstands temperatures from -30°C to 60°C and protects against rain, snow and dust.

Advantages

Directional operation with 12 dBi gain improves signal reach and helps reduce interference from unwanted directions. The antenna is suitable for point-to-point links and offers low wind loading to simplify outdoor installation and mounting.

Key specifications

• Frequency: 2.4 GHz
• Gain: 12 dBi
• Connector: N-type
• Impedance: 50 Ω
• Standards: IEEE 802.11b/g/n
• Weight: 304 g
• Operating temperature (outdoor housing): -30°C to 60°C

How to use

Mount the WAN-2121 in the required direction to establish a point-to-point link or to focus coverage in a specific area. Use an appropriate N-type cable and ensure the connector is tightened securely. For outdoor installations, fix the antenna to a pole or mast and orient it toward the remote endpoint, then verify signal strength and alignment. Ensure the weatherproof seals are intact after installation.

Recommendations

For best results in outdoor point-to-point links, use quality low-loss coaxial cable, verify clear line of sight between endpoints, and check local regulations for antenna placement and permitted gain levels.
