LevelOne FEU-0812 netwerkswitch unmanaged fast ethernet (10/100) zwart

The LevelOne FEU-0812 is a compact Fast Ethernet switch with eight 10/100BASE-TX RJ-45 ports designed for simple network expansion in home and small office environments. It operates at wire-speed with non-blocking architecture and supports auto-negotiation and auto-MDI/MDIX on all ports, allowing direct connection to routers, servers, hubs or other switches without crossover cables or dedicated uplink ports. Physical dimensions are 89 x 86 x 23 mm and it is powered by a 5V/0.6A adapter.

Advantages

The switch delivers eight flexible 10/100Mbps ports with full- and half-duplex support, auto-negotiation and auto-MDI/MDIX to simplify cabling. It supports 1K MAC address auto-learning and auto-aging and can forward up to 148800 packets per second, enabling reliable basic switching. Installation is plug-and-play for quick setup without configuration.

Suitable for

• Home networks and multimedia sharing
• Small office or SOHO environments
• Connecting computers, printers and NAS devices
• Expanding wired ports on a router or gateway

Key specifications

• Ports: 8 x 10/100BASE-TX RJ-45
• Switching capacity: wire-speed, non-blocking
• MAC table: 1K entries (auto-learning/auto-aging)
• Forwarding rate: 148800 pps
• Standards: IEEE 802.3, IEEE 802.3u, IEEE 802.3az
• Power: 5V / 0.6A
• Dimensions: 89 x 86 x 23 mm
• Color: Black

How to use

Place the switch on a stable surface near your network devices and the power outlet. Connect each device using CAT5e/CAT6 cables to any of the eight RJ-45 ports; the ports will auto-negotiate speed and duplex and auto-MDI/MDIX will correct cable type automatically. Connect the power adapter and verify the link LEDs to ensure each port has established a connection. No additional configuration is required for basic operation.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use quality CAT5e or CAT6 cables and place the switch in a well-ventilated area away from heat sources. If connecting to gigabit devices or networks, consider a gigabit switch instead, since this Fast Ethernet model supports up to 100 Mbps per port.
