LevelOne GEMINI fixed dome IP-netwerkcamera, 6 megapixel, H.265, 802.3af PoE, binnen/buiten

The LevelOne GEMINI FCS-3404 H.265 is a 6-megapixel fixed dome IP security camera designed for indoor and outdoor ceiling-mounted installations. It delivers high-resolution imagery with H.265 compression for efficient storage, a CMOS sensor for clear video, a fixed 2.8 mm focal length and 8x digital zoom for detailed monitoring. The camera supports Power over Ethernet (802.3af) to carry power and data over a single Cat.5 cable and is rated IP67 for reliable operation in rain, snow, dust, extreme heat and high humidity.

Advantages

The camera combines 6-Megapixel resolution with H.265 encoding to reduce bandwidth and storage needs while maintaining image clarity. Its IP67 enclosure ensures continuous outdoor performance under harsh weather conditions. PoE (802.3af) simplifies installation by eliminating separate power cabling, and the wide horizontal (107°) and vertical (57°) viewing angles provide broad scene coverage from a ceiling mount. The white, fixed dome design is compact and suitable for many surveillance environments.

Suitable for

• Outdoor perimeter and entrance monitoring
• Indoor ceiling surveillance in commercial spaces
• Parking areas and loading docks
• Retail stores and office common areas

How to use

Mount the FCS-3404 on a suitable ceiling surface using the included mounting hardware, ensuring the camera has a clear field of view. Connect the camera to your network switch or PoE injector using a Cat.5 (or better) Ethernet cable to provide both power and data. Configure IP settings, video compression (H.265), resolution and motion detection through the camera’s web interface or the supported network video recorder according to your site requirements.

Recommendations

For reliable outdoor performance, install the camera with a slight downward tilt to shed water and verify the IP67 seals after installation. Use PoE-capable network equipment to simplify wiring and enable continuous operation; adjust motion detection zones and sensitivity to reduce false alarms in busy areas.
