Tesa adhesive nail 1 kg is formulated for bonding wallpapers and plaster in interior renovation and construction work. This adhesive is intended for use on paper-based wall coverings and common plaster substrates, offering consistent tack and curing characteristics to create durable joints between materials when applied according to surface and quantity requirements.

Advantages

The adhesive provides stable adhesion on paper wallpapers and on plaster surfaces when substrates are prepared correctly. Supplied in a 1 kg package, it is convenient for small to medium repair and installation jobs. The formulation is designed to produce a reliable bond without excessive shrinkage or residue when applied at recommended coverage and drying conditions.

Suitable for

• Installing paper-based wallpapers in interior rooms
• Repairing and bonding plaster patches and skim coats
• General interior finishing and small renovation tasks

Key specifications

• Net weight: 1 kg packaging
• Primary application: wallpaper and plaster bonding
• Intended use: interior surfaces
• Substrate compatibility: paper wallpapers, gypsum and cement-based plasters (when primed correctly)
• Drying behavior: typical indoor adhesive curing—depends on layer thickness and room conditions

How to use

Ensure surfaces are clean, dry and free from dust, loose material, oils or other contaminants. Mix or prepare the adhesive following the manufacturer’s instructions on the product label. Apply an even layer of adhesive to the substrate or to the backing of the wallpaper, depending on the recommended method for the specific wallcovering. Position the wallpaper or press the plaster patch into place, remove any excess adhesive promptly with a damp cloth and smooth the surface to eliminate bubbles. Allow adequate drying time under normal room temperature and humidity before decorating or subjecting the area to mechanical stress.

Recommendations

For best results, test adhesion on a small hidden area prior to full application, use appropriate primers on highly absorbent or dusty plasters, maintain room temperature and humidity within typical indoor ranges during curing, and follow safety instructions on the product label regarding ventilation and skin contact.
