Lindy 10m glasvezel-hybride Mini DisplayPort 1.4-kabel met afneembare DP-aansluitingen

The Lindy 10m Fibre Optic Hybrid Mini DisplayPort 1.4 Cable is a hybrid fibre-copper solution designed to extend Mini DisplayPort and DisplayPort signals over long distances without additional adapters. The thin, flexible 4.8 mm cable features a narrow metal Mini DisplayPort connector for easy installation through conduits and tight spaces, plus a detachable DisplayPort connector that can be attached at either end to match a wide range of displays and devices. The cable supports the DisplayPort 1.4 specification for high-resolution video and audio transmission and is RoHS compliant.

Advantages

This hybrid design combines fibre optic transmission for long-distance, low-interference signal carry with copper connectivity for standard device interfaces, providing high EMI/RFI resistance and reliable performance in critical AV or commercial installations. The detachable connector concept enables flexible configurations (Mini DP to Mini DP, DP to DP, or Mini DP to DP) and simplifies installation in narrow or constrained routes. Support for DP 1.4 features allows resolutions up to 8K@60Hz and 4K@120Hz, including static and dynamic HDR for improved colour gamut, contrast and brightness.

Suitable for

• Long-distance AV signal extension in retail digital signage
• Event and immersive AV installations requiring high-resolution video
• Transportation and public displays operating in bright or outdoor conditions
• Commercial installations where conduit or narrow routing is needed

How to use

Route the 4.8 mm hybrid cable through conduit or the chosen installation path using the narrow metal Mini DisplayPort connector where space is limited. Attach the detachable DisplayPort connector at the cable ends as required to match the display or source device interfaces. Connect the Mini DisplayPort end to the source and the attached DisplayPort (or Mini DP) end to the display, then verify video output and resolution settings on the source device to utilise DP 1.4 features such as HDR and the required refresh rate.

Recommendations

For reliable long-term performance, avoid tight bends below the cable manufacturer's minimum bend radius, secure the cable in conduit or trunking to prevent strain at connector points, and verify that connected devices support DisplayPort 1.4 and the desired resolution/refresh-rate combinations.
