Lindy 10m OM2 LC - SC duplex InfiniBand/glasvezelkabel oranje

The Lindy 10m OM2 LC - SC Duplex fibre optic cable is a multimode link designed for reliable high-speed data transmission over short to medium distances. With a 50 µm core and OM2 grade multimode fibre, this 10-metre duplex cable provides stable full-duplex connectivity between LC and SC ports. The bright orange jacket improves visibility in rack and conduit installations while the duplex construction simplifies management of transmit and receive channels.

Advantages

This OM2 LC–SC duplex cable offers consistent signal integrity for multimode networks and supports full-duplex operation for simultaneous two-way communication. The 10 metre length is suitable for flexible placement in server rooms and wiring closets without excess slack. LC and SC connectors deliver a balance of compact connection (LC) and robust locking (SC), while the durable outer jacket resists abrasion and routine handling in installations.

Suitable for

• Interconnecting switches, patch panels and transceivers in data centers
• Multimode fibre links in local area networks (LAN)
• Rack-to-rack or cabinet-to-cabinet connections within buildings
• Equipment migration or temporary test setups requiring LC to SC interfaces

Key specifications

• Fibre type: Multimode OM2
• Core diameter: 50 µm
• Connector A: LC duplex
• Connector B: SC duplex
• Length: 10 metres
• Polarity: Full duplex
• Jacket colour: Orange

How to use

Ensure both ends are clean before making connections; use appropriate fibre cleaning tools to remove dust and debris from the LC and SC connectors. Align and insert the LC duplex connector into the LC port and the SC duplex connector into the SC adapter or port until each connector clicks or seats securely. Maintain proper bend radius during routing and avoid sharp kinks. Label both ends if required for identification and verify optical link status using the connected equipment or an optical tester.

Recommendations

Store and handle the cable to avoid excessive bending and tension. Use dust caps when connectors are not in use and perform periodic visual inspection and cleaning to maintain optimum performance. For longer distances or higher bandwidth requirements consider appropriate multimode grades or singlemode alternatives.
