Lindy 1m 3,5-mm audiokabel, Cromo Line

The Lindy Cromo Line 1m 3.5mm male-to-male audio cable is a flexible, anthracite-coloured lead designed for connecting portable audio devices to car aux inputs, amplifiers or speakers. It features high-quality copper conductors with 24K gold-plated 3.5mm male connectors and a 1 m length, providing reliable signal transfer for everyday hi-fi and mobile use. The cable jacket and inner insulation are PVC- and halogen-free, made from thermoplastic elastomers (TPE) and nylon in accordance with relevant EU guidelines.

Advantages

The cable offers gold-plated contacts for improved conductivity and resistance to tarnishing and corrosion, a 28 AWG wire size that balances durability and flexibility, and a compact 1 m length suitable for close connections. Its PVC- and halogen-free construction reduces the use of PVC and toxic additives found in conventional cable designs.

Suitable for

• Connecting smartphones, iPhone or iPod to car auxiliary sockets
• Linking portable audio players to amplifiers or speakers
• Short-distance audio connections in home hi-fi setups

How to use

Insert one 3.5mm male connector into the audio output of your source device (smartphone, portable player or computer) and the other 3.5mm male connector into the auxiliary input of the receiving device (car aux, amplifier or speaker). Ensure connectors are fully seated to avoid intermittent signal loss. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and pinching points to preserve flexibility and longevity.

Recommendations

For best performance, avoid repeated bending near the connectors, keep the cable away from high-heat sources, and disconnect by pulling the connector body rather than the cable. Use the 1 m length for close-proximity connections; choose a longer Lindy Cromo Line variant if greater reach is needed.
