Lindy 20m Fibre Optic Hybrid Mini DisplayPort 1.4 kabel met afneembare DP-aansluitingen

The Lindy 20m Fibre Optic Hybrid Mini DisplayPort 1.4 Cable is a hybrid fibre-copper solution designed to extend Mini DisplayPort and DisplayPort signals over long distances without additional adapters. The thin, flexible fibre optic core offers high resistance to EMI and RFI, while the narrow metal Mini DisplayPort connector and detachable DisplayPort connector enable easy installation through conduits and connection to a wide range of displays and devices. The cable supports DisplayPort 1.4 features for high-resolution, high-refresh-rate video delivery.

Advantages

This hybrid cable combines fibre optic transmission with standard copper wiring to minimise signal loss and interference over long runs. Its slim-profile metal Mini DisplayPort connector allows installation through tight spaces without damaging the internal structure, and the detachable DisplayPort connector provides modular connectivity options for Mini DP-to-Mini DP, DP-to-DP or Mini DP-to-DP configurations. Compliant with relevant standards and available in a 20 m length, it supports high resolutions and refresh rates for demanding AV and commercial applications.

Suitable for

• Extending Mini DisplayPort/DisplayPort connections in commercial AV installations
• Digital signage and retail displays requiring long cable runs
• Event AV setups and immersive installations
• Transportation and public-information displays with high-brightness environments

How to use

Route the thin Mini DisplayPort connector and fibre hybrid cable through conduit or narrow spaces to the desired installation location. After pulling the cable into place, attach the detachable DisplayPort connector where required to connect to displays or source devices. Ensure connectors are fully seated and secured before powering devices. Use appropriate cable management and strain relief to protect the cable and connectors in permanent installations.

Recommendations

For reliable performance, avoid sharp bends and excessive tension on the fibre optic section; maintain the manufacturer’s recommended bend radius. Use the detachable connector only after the cable is positioned to prevent stress on internal fibres. Verify device compatibility with DisplayPort 1.4 features if you plan to use 8K@60Hz or 4K@120Hz modes.
