Lindy 45646 Netwerkkabel blauw 7,5 m Cat6 S/FTP (S-STP)

Lindy Cat.6 SSTP/S/FTP PIMF networking cable, 7.5 m in length and blue colour, supports bandwidths up to 250 MHz and is designed for Ethernet standards up to 1GBase-T. The cable is shielded with an overall braid and individual foil shields around each twisted pair (S/FTP / PIMF) and is manufactured and tested to ISO/IEC 11801. The halogen-free (LSZH) sheath reduces smoke and eliminates toxic halogen emissions, making the cable suitable for use in public spaces.

Advantages

The gold-plated RJ45 contacts provide corrosion-resistant, reliable connections over long periods. The robust snagless strain-relief design protects the connector latch during installation and removal. Shielding for each pair plus an overall braid reduces electromagnetic interference and improves signal integrity for Gigabit Ethernet applications.

Suitable for

• Gigabit Ethernet (1GBase-T) networks
• AV extension and professional network installations
• Environments requiring low smoke and halogen-free cabling (public buildings)
• Permanent or temporary workstation and server connections up to 7.5 m

How to use

Connect one RJ45 connector to a network device (switch, router, PC, AV equipment) and the other connector to the corresponding port on the opposite device. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks; the snagless design reduces the risk of latch damage during repeated insertions. Route the cable avoiding tight bends and strong mechanical stress to preserve shielding and signal quality. Use patch panels or keystone jacks if integrating into structured cabling installations.

Recommendations

For best performance, avoid running the cable parallel to heavy power lines or sources of electromagnetic interference. Maintain bend radius greater than four times the cable diameter and secure the cable with appropriate clips or ties without compressing the sheath. Verify link speed and cable performance after installation using a network tester if precise validation is required.
