Lindy 46353 InfiniBand/glasvezelkabel 5 m LC ST roze

The Lindy 46353 5m fibre optic cable is an OM4 multimode link with LC and ST terminations designed for high-performance networking environments. With a 50 µm core diameter it supports high-speed data transmission and low attenuation over short to medium distances. The cable's pink jacket provides a distinct visual identifier for organised installations while the construction balances flexibility and durability for straightforward routing and connector handling.

Advantages

This OM4 fibre cable offers higher bandwidth and lower modal dispersion compared with lower-grade multimode fibres, which helps maintain signal integrity for applications such as data centre interconnects and enterprise networks. The LC connector provides a compact duplex interface suitable for modern transceivers, while the ST connector offers a reliable bayonet-style termination for legacy or mixed-equipment environments. The 5 metre length is convenient for rack-to-rack or patching applications where short fixed runs are required.

Suitable for

• Data centre patching and fibre management panels
• Short-distance network links between switches, servers and storage
• Mixed-equipment environments requiring LC-to-ST connectivity
• Environments where cable identification or colour coding is used

Key specifications

• Fibre type: OM4 multimode
• Core diameter: 50 µm
• Length: 5 metres
• Connectors: LC (one end) to ST (other end)
• Jacket colour: pink
• Suitable for high-speed short to medium distance links
• Flexible jacket for easy routing in racks and panels

How to use

Connect the LC terminator to the corresponding LC port on the transceiver or patch panel and insert the ST connector into the matching ST receptacle following the bayonet twist-and-lock action. Avoid excessive bending near the connector ends and maintain recommended minimum bend radius to preserve optical performance. Ensure connectors are clean before mating using appropriate fibre cleaning tools and protective caps when the cable is not in use. For patching in racks, route the cable along cable management channels to prevent strain on connectors.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use this OM4 cable for short to medium distance runs within premises such as data centres and wiring closets, verify connector cleanliness before installation, and avoid tight bends or repeated flexing to maintain low attenuation and long-term reliability.
