Lindy 47245 netwerkkabel grijs 3 m Cat6 F/UTP (FTP)

The Lindy 47245 3m Cat6 U/FTP (STP) networking cable is designed to deliver stable gigabit Ethernet performance for home and office environments. Featuring RJ-45 connectors with gold plating and a foil-screened pairs plus overall drain (U/FTP) construction, this grey cable reduces crosstalk and electromagnetic interference to support reliable data transmission over 3 metres. It is compatible with 10/100/1000Base-T(X) cabling technology and suitable for connecting switches, routers, patch panels and network devices in structured cabling or point-to-point setups.

Advantages

The U/FTP shielding around individual twisted pairs provides improved resistance to external electromagnetic interference compared with unshielded cables, helping to maintain signal integrity in environments with electronic equipment. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors ensure solid contact and corrosion resistance for consistent performance. With a 3 m length and a neutral grey jacket, the cable offers flexible deployment options and a discreet appearance that integrates into residential or commercial installations.

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 end to the Ethernet port of your network device and the other to a switch, router or patch panel. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks to establish a secure mechanical and electrical connection. Route the cable avoiding sharp bends and heavy compression points; maintain a bend radius consistent with manufacturer guidance for Cat6 cables. For rack installations, use cable organizers or patch panels to prevent strain on the connectors.
