Lindy 47280 Netwerkkabel Blauw 3 m Cat7 S/FTP (S-STP)

The Lindy 47280 RJ-45 Cat7 networking cable is a 3 m blue copper patch cable designed for high-speed wired connections in local networks. It conforms to the Cat7 standard and uses S/FTP shielding with individually screened pairs and an overall foil shield to reduce electromagnetic interference and crosstalk. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors provide reliable contact and corrosion resistance for consistent data transmission across 10/100/1000Base-T(X) networks.

Advantages

This Cat7 cable offers improved signal integrity through its S/FTP construction, which minimizes outside interference and pair-to-pair crosstalk. The 3 m length suits typical workstation and patch panel layouts without excess slack. Gold-plated RJ-45 plugs enhance connector durability and electrical contact quality. The blue jacket facilitates cable identification in structured cabling installations.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop PCs and workstations to switches or routers
• Patching between wall outlets and network equipment in offices
• Home network setups requiring stable wired connections for streaming or gaming
• Short runs in data cabinets or patch panels

Key specifications

• Standard: Category 7 (Cat7)
• Length: 3 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45, gold-plated contacts
• Shielding: S/FTP (individually screened pairs + overall foil shield)
• Supported wiring: 10/100/1000Base-T(X)
• Colour: Blue

How to use

Insert one gold-plated RJ-45 connector into the network port of your device and the other connector into the switch, router or wall outlet. Ensure connectors click into place to confirm a secure mechanical and electrical connection. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and mechanical strain; keep it separated from sources of strong electromagnetic interference when possible. For patching in cabinets, leave modest slack to allow equipment movement and avoid excessive tension on the connectors.

Recommendations

Use this Cat7 cable for short to medium runs where reduced interference and reliable Gigabit Ethernet performance are required. For optimal longevity, avoid repeated excessive bending at the connector ends and store the cable coiled without tight knots when not in use.
