Lindy 47310 netwerkkabel zwart 3 m Cat7 S/FTP (S-STP)

The Lindy 47310 networking cable RJ-45 Cat7 3 m Black is a shielded Ethernet cable designed for high-speed, reliable wired connections. This Cat7 cable features S/FTP shielding and RJ-45 connectors with gold plating, and its 3 m length provides flexibility for desktop, rack and home networking installations while maintaining consistent performance.

Advantages

S/FTP shielding reduces electromagnetic interference for stable data transfer in environments with multiple cables and active equipment. The Cat7 specification supports high-bandwidth applications and backward compatibility with existing Ethernet standards. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors improve contact quality and corrosion resistance, ensuring a dependable physical connection over time. The black outer jacket offers a discreet appearance suitable for visible or concealed installations.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop computers, switches and routers
• Home and office networking where a 3 m cable length is appropriate
• High-bandwidth applications such as streaming, large file transfers and VoIP
• Environments requiring reduced interference and reliable signal integrity

Key specifications

• Category: Cat7
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall shield with individually shielded pairs)
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45 with gold plating
• Cable length: 3 m
• Cabling technology: 10/100/1000Base-T(X) compatible
• Colour: Black

How to use

Insert one RJ-45 connector into the Ethernet port of your source device (computer, switch or router) and the other connector into the target device. Ensure connectors are fully seated until the latch clicks to secure the connection. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and contact with sources of strong electromagnetic interference to preserve signal quality. For rack installations, route and fix the cable using appropriate cable management accessories to prevent strain on the connectors.

Recommendations

For best results, use the Lindy Cat7 cable in network segments where enhanced shielding is beneficial and where the 3 m length fits the layout. Avoid tight bends, kinking, or pulling the cable under tension. If longer runs are required, choose a length appropriate for the distance while maintaining Category-appropriate cabling practices.
