Lindy 47382 Netwerkkabel wit 1 m Cat6 S/FTP (S-STP)

The Lindy Cat.6 S/FTP RJ-45 Cat6 1m White networking cable is a 1 meter Ethernet cable designed for reliable high-speed data transmission in home and office networks. It supports 10/100/1000Base-T(X) cabling technology and uses S/FTP (shielded/foiled twisted pair) construction to reduce electromagnetic interference. Both ends are fitted with gold-plated RJ-45 connectors to ensure consistent contact and corrosion resistance. The white jacket provides a neutral appearance for visible installations and small patching runs.

Advantages

The S/FTP shielding minimizes crosstalk and external noise, improving signal integrity for Gigabit Ethernet applications. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors deliver low contact resistance and longer connector life. At 1 m length the cable is suitable for short patch connections between networking equipment without excess cable slack. The cable conforms to standard Cat6 performance expectations for data centers, server cabinets, desktop setups and structured cabling segments.

Suitable for

• Connecting PCs, switches and routers over short distances
• Patch panels and patch cords in wiring closets
• Office desktop network connections
• Home network setups and media players

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 end to your network device (switch, router or NIC) and the other end to the corresponding port on the target device. Ensure ports are powered and configured for the appropriate speed and duplex settings; most modern devices will negotiate Gigabit Ethernet automatically. Avoid sharp bends near the connector and do not exceed recommended bend radius to maintain signal performance. For patch panel installations, insert the connector fully into the jack until it clicks.

Recommendations

Use this 1 m Cat6 S/FTP cable for short, high-performance links where shielding is beneficial, such as near other electrical equipment or in dense cabling environments. For longer runs, select a cable with an appropriate length and verify installation follows local cabling standards.
