Lindy 47387 Netwerkkabel wit 7,5 m Cat6 S/FTP (S-STP)

The Lindy Cat.6 S/FTP RJ-45 Cat6 7.5m White is a shielded Ethernet cable designed to support Gigabit networks and high-speed data transmission over 7.5 meters. Constructed to Cat6 specifications with S/FTP (S‑STP) shielding and gold‑plated RJ‑45 connectors, the cable reduces electromagnetic interference and maintains reliable signal integrity for home and office networking setups while presenting a neutral white finish that blends into most interiors.

Advantages

Shielding in S/FTP construction provides both an overall braid and individually shielded twisted pairs, improving resistance to external interference and crosstalk. Gold‑plated RJ‑45 connectors offer stable contact and corrosion resistance for consistent conductivity. The 7.5 m length balances reach and signal quality for typical room-to-room connections, and Cat6 performance supports 10/100/1000Base‑T(X) networks for reliable Gigabit Ethernet operation.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop computers, NAS devices and network switches in home or small office networks
• Wired connections for media players, smart TVs and gaming consoles requiring low latency
• Structured cabling runs within single rooms or between adjacent rooms up to 7.5 m

Key specifications

• Cable length: 7.5 m
• Connectors: RJ‑45 to RJ‑45 with gold plating
• Cabling technology: 10/100/1000Base‑T(X) support
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid + individually shielded pairs)
• Category: Cat6 performance characteristics
• Colour: White

How to use

Plug each RJ‑45 connector into the corresponding Ethernet ports on network devices such as routers, switches, computers or media players. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch engages to secure the connection. Route the cable to avoid tight bends and sources of strong electromagnetic interference; keep the cable untangled and avoid kinks that could impair performance.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use this Cat6 S/FTP cable for connections within the same room or between adjacent rooms where runs do not exceed 7.5 m. Avoid running the cable parallel and close to high‑voltage power lines or large electrical equipment. If longer runs or in-wall installation is required, consider using appropriately rated cable types and follow local installation standards for building wiring.
