Lindy 47754 Netwerkkabel groen 15 m Cat6 S/FTP (S-STP)

The Lindy RJ-45 Cat.6 S/FTP 15m Green networking cable delivers a Cat6-compliant connection over a 15 meter length with S/FTP (shielded/foiled twisted pair) construction and gold-plated RJ-45 connectors. Designed to support 10/100/1000Base-T(X) Ethernet, the cable provides stable data transmission, reduced electromagnetic interference and a durable plug interface. The green jacket makes the cable easy to identify in crowded cable runs or colour-coded installations.

Advantages

S/FTP shielding combines an overall braid with foil around each pair to reduce crosstalk and external interference for improved signal integrity. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors ensure reliable contact resistance and corrosion resistance over time. The 15 m length covers typical office and home networking layouts without the need for intermediate patch panels. The cable adheres to Cat6 performance parameters for gigabit Ethernet applications and is suitable for environments where visible cable identification is important.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop computers, switches and routers in offices
• Gigabit Ethernet connections for small server rooms or network closets
• Home networking between routers, NAS devices and media players
• Structured cabling runs where shielded cable is required to limit interference

Key specifications

• Cable length: 15 m
• Connector type: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Cabling technology: 10/100/1000Base-T(X)
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid plus foil on individual pairs)
• Performance class: Cat6
• Contact plating: gold-plated contacts
• Colour: green

How to use

Identify the network ports on the devices to be connected and insert each RJ-45 connector securely until the latch clicks. Route the cable to avoid tight bends, kinks and sources of strong electromagnetic interference such as power transformers or heavy machinery. For best performance, maintain proper bend radius and avoid stretching the cable. If routing through conduits or cable management panels, ensure the cable fits without excessive compression of the shielded jacket.

Recommendations

Use this Cat6 S/FTP cable for gigabit Ethernet links where reduced interference is required. For PoE (Power over Ethernet) applications verify device compatibility and power budget. When running multiple shielded cables, ensure proper grounding of shields at appropriate points to maintain shielding effectiveness.
