Lindy 47765 Netwerkkabel geel 3 m Cat6 S/FTP (S-STP)

The Lindy Rj45/Rj45 Cat6 3m networking cable is a 3 metre S/FTP Cat6 patch cable with gold-plated RJ-45 connectors and a yellow jacket for improved visibility. Designed to support 10/100/1000Base-T(X) Ethernet, the cable provides a reliable physical link between switches, routers, patch panels and networked devices while reducing electromagnetic interference through its shielded pair construction.

Advantages

The S/FTP shielding combines an overall foil shield with individually shielded twisted pairs to limit crosstalk and external interference, improving signal integrity for high-speed transfers. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors offer stable contact resistance and corrosion resistance for long-term reliability. The 3 m length balances reach and neat cable management, while the yellow outer sheath increases visibility in crowded racks and cabling runs.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktops, laptops and network printers to switches or patch panels
• Linking network switches in small server rooms or office closets
• Home and office Gigabit Ethernet connections
• Temporary or permanent patching in structured cabling setups where visibility is needed

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat6 (S/FTP shielding)
• Length: 3 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45, gold-plated contacts
• Supported Ethernet: 10/100/1000Base-T(X)
• Colour: Yellow

How to use

Insert each RJ-45 connector into the corresponding Ethernet port until the latch clicks into place. Ensure both ends are fully seated in switch, router or device ports. For structured cabling, route the cable avoiding sharp bends and sources of strong electromagnetic interference; maintain bend radius as recommended for Cat6 cables. When disconnecting, press the connector latch to release before pulling out to avoid damaging the plug.

Recommendations

Use this Cat6 S/FTP cable for reliable Gigabit connections in office and home networks. Avoid running alongside high-voltage power lines to minimize interference, and label visible yellow cables to simplify identification during maintenance or reconfiguration.
