Lindy 47766 Netwerkkabel geel 5 m Cat6 S/FTP (S-STP)

The Lindy Cat6 S/FTP RJ-45 networking cable, 5 m in length and finished in yellow, is designed for reliable gigabit Ethernet connections. It uses S/FTP shielding to reduce electromagnetic interference and features RJ-45 connectors with gold plating for consistent contact quality. This cable supports 10/100/1000Base-T(X) and is suitable for structured cabling in home and office environments.

Advantages

The S/FTP construction provides improved protection against crosstalk and external interference compared with unshielded alternatives. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors ensure stable signal transmission and corrosion resistance. The 5 m length covers common desktop and patching requirements while the bright yellow jacket increases visibility for easy identification in cable bundles.

Suitable for

• Gigabit Ethernet connections (10/100/1000Base-T(X))
• Patch panels and desk-to-switch connections
• Home networks and small office LANs
• Environments where cable identification is required

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 plug to your network device (router, switch or NIC) and the other RJ-45 plug to the receiving device. Ensure connectors are fully seated until the latch clicks. Route the cable to avoid tight bends or sharp edges and keep it separated from strong power sources to minimise interference despite the shielding.

Recommendations

For best performance, avoid kinking the cable and maintain bend radii recommended for Cat6 cables. Use labelled patch cords in rack or patch-panel installations to take advantage of the yellow colour for easy identification.
