Lindy 47801 Netwerkkabel wit 30 m Cat6 S/FTP (S-STP)

The Lindy Cat.6 S/FTP RJ-45 30m White is a 30-metre networking cable designed for Gigabit Ethernet and high-speed data connections in home and office environments. Constructed with S/FTP shielding and terminated with gold-plated RJ-45 connectors, the cable supports 10/100/1000Base-T(X) cabling technology and is finished in white for discreet installation along walls, ceilings or in cable management systems.

Advantages

Shielded S/FTP construction reduces electromagnetic interference and crosstalk for more reliable signal integrity over longer runs. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors help maintain consistent contact and minimise corrosion, improving long-term performance. The 30 m length provides flexibility for connecting distant devices without the need for additional patch panels or extenders, and the white jacket offers a neutral appearance suitable for most interiors.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop PCs, switches and routers in offices and homes
• Structured cabling for meeting rooms, server closets and workstations
• High-bandwidth applications such as video streaming and large file transfers
• Temporary or permanent installations where a longer run is required

Key specifications

• Cable length: 30 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45 with gold-plated contacts
• Cabling technology: 10/100/1000Base-T(X)
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid with individual foil shields for pairs)
• Colour: White

How to use

Route the Lindy Cat.6 S/FTP cable between network devices, avoiding tight bends and sources of strong electromagnetic interference where possible. Plug each RJ-45 connector firmly into the corresponding network port until the latch clicks. For in-wall or concealed installations, follow local building codes and use appropriate conduit or cable carriers; ensure connectors remain accessible if frequent disconnects are anticipated. Test the connection with a network tester or by verifying link/activity LEDs on connected equipment.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, avoid running the cable in parallel with mains power cables and limit exposure to heat sources. When terminating or custom-cutting lengths, use appropriate tools and maintain pair twist to preserve Cat6 performance. Use in combination with compatible Gigabit switches and network interfaces to achieve full throughput.
