Lindy 48201 Netwerkkabel wit 0,5 m Cat6 U/UTP (UTP)

The Lindy Rj45/Rj45 Cat6 0.5m networking cable is a 0.5 metre U/UTP Cat6 cable with RJ-45 connectors on both ends, designed for wired Ethernet connections up to Gigabit speeds. Its white jacket offers a neutral, professional appearance suitable for office desks, patch panels and short device-to-device links. The cable supports 10/100/1000Base-T(X) cabling technology and provides a compact, reliable connection between network devices.

Advantages

This Cat6 cable uses U/UTP shielding to reduce electromagnetic interference on short runs while maintaining flexibility for routing in tight spaces. The RJ-45 connectors are compatible with standard Ethernet ports and the 0.5 m length minimises excess cable clutter for tidy installations. White colouring allows the cable to blend with light-coloured furniture and cabinets, improving the visual neatness of network setups.

Suitable for

• Connecting a computer or laptop to a nearby switch or router
• Short patch connections in patch panels and wall-mounted outlets
• Linking networked devices in office desks, meeting rooms or home workstations

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 connector to the Ethernet port of your network device and the other connector to the switch, router or wall outlet. Ensure connectors click into place to confirm a secure physical connection. For optimal performance, avoid sharp bends or stretching the cable; keep the cable run within the intended 0.5 m length. If using within patch panels or under desks, route the cable to avoid interference from power cables where possible.

Recommendations

The Lindy Cat6 0.5m U/UTP cable is intended for short fixed connections; use it for tidy, short-distance links in racks, desktops and patch panels. For longer runs or environments with high electromagnetic interference, consider longer lengths or higher shielding categories as appropriate.
