Lindy 7,5 m DisplayPort 1.2-kabel, Gold Line

The Lindy Gold Line DisplayPort cable (7.5 m) is a high-performance DisplayPort 1.2 cable designed for reliable transmission of video and audio between DisplayPort-enabled devices. Featuring triple-shielded construction, 24AWG OFC conductors and 24K gold-plated contacts, this 7.5 metre grey cable supports UHD resolutions up to 4K (4096x2160@60Hz 4:4:4 8bit), stereoscopic 3D and HDCP while meeting RoHS and REACH requirements.

Advantages

Triple shielding and oxygen-free copper (OFC) 24AWG conductors reduce signal loss and improve corrosion resistance, while 24K gold-plated contacts maintain optimal signal integrity. The cable’s low-attenuation design provides consistent performance over long distances and DisplayPort 1.2 compliance ensures broad compatibility with DisplayPort-enabled monitors, projectors and graphics sources.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop PCs or laptops to monitors supporting DisplayPort
• AV installations with projectors and professional displays
• Setups requiring 4K@60Hz video transmission and stereoscopic 3D
• Environments where long cable runs require low attenuation and reliable signal integrity

Key specifications

• Length: 7.5 m
• Connector type: DisplayPort to DisplayPort
• Standard: DisplayPort 1.2
• Maximum resolution: up to 4K 4096x2160@60Hz 4:4:4 8bit
• Conductors: 24AWG OFC (oxygen-free copper)
• Contacts: 24K gold-plated
• Colour: Grey
• Compliance: RoHS, REACH

How to use

Connect one DisplayPort connector to the source device (PC, laptop, media player) and the other to the DisplayPort input on the monitor or projector. Ensure both devices support the desired resolution and refresh rate (for 4K@60Hz enable DisplayPort 1.2 settings if required). Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and heavy kinks to maintain signal integrity.

Recommendations

For longest reliable performance, avoid running the cable alongside high-power electrical wiring and secure connections at both ends. If using extenders or adapters, verify they support DisplayPort 1.2 and the target resolution.
