Lindy 70m glasvezel-hybride micro-HDMI-8K60-LSZH-kabel met afneembare HDMI-aansluitingen 38548

Long-distance 8K HDMI signal transmission over 70 meters is a challenge for standard copper cables, which suffer from signal degradation and interference. The Lindy 38548 solves this with a hybrid fibre optic design that delivers uncompromised 8K60 video and audio quality across the full length.

Who is it for

Professional AV installers, system integrators, and home cinema enthusiasts who need to route ultra-high-definition HDMI signals over long distances in commercial or residential settings, especially where fire safety regulations require low-smoke, zero-halogen cabling.

Main features

• Hybrid fibre optic construction: 4x OM3 multimode fibres for video/audio data and 7x copper wires for control and power, ensuring reliable 48 Gbps bandwidth over 70 m.
• Detachable HDMI Type A connectors: the cable core ends in a Micro-HDMI (Type D) connector, allowing the HDMI Type A plugs to be detached for easy routing through conduits or tight spaces.
• Full HDMI 2.1 feature set: supports 8K@60Hz, 4K@120Hz, HDR10, HLG, Dolby Vision, HDCP 2.3, and eARC for immersive audio.
• LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) jacket: emits low smoke and no toxic halogens in case of fire, making it suitable for public buildings and enclosed installations.
• Directional design: connectors are marked Source and Display to ensure correct signal flow; bus-powered from the HDMI port, no external power supply needed.
• Durable zinc alloy connector housings with a slim 4.8 mm cable diameter for flexible installation.

Tips

When routing through conduits, detach the HDMI Type A connectors and pull only the Micro-HDMI core, then reattach the connectors at each end. Always connect the Source end to the playback device and the Display end to the screen or projector. For best performance, avoid sharp bends and maintain a minimum bend radius of 10 times the cable diameter.
