Lint voor kaartprinter Evolis R5H204E100 1/2 YMCKO voor halfhoge volledige kleurafdruk

The Evolis R5H204E100 1/2 YMCKO color ribbon is designed for card printers that support half-panel full-color printing. It contains Yellow, Magenta, Cyan, Black panels and an Overcoat panel to produce durable, high-quality color images on plastic cards. The ribbon is intended for printing identification, membership and access cards where color fidelity and surface protection are required.

Advantages

The YMCKO formulation combines vivid color panels with a protective overcoat to enhance image longevity and resistance to abrasion and handling. Half-panel configuration reduces ribbon consumption for layouts that do not require full-height printing, improving yield and lowering cost per card. The ribbon is compatible with Evolis printers and formulated to provide consistent color reproduction and reliable feeding during printing jobs.

Suitable for

• Printing full-color ID cards with protected surfaces
• Membership and loyalty cards with photographic images
• Access control and security badges requiring durable prints
• Card runs where half-panel layouts are used to save ribbon

Key specifications

• Color panels: Yellow, Magenta, Cyan, Black and Overcoat
• Panel layout: half-panel (designed for half-height printing)
• Application: color printing with protective overcoat for plastic cards
• Compatibility: designed for Evolis card printers that accept 1/2 YMCKO ribbons

How to use

Install the ribbon in the printer according to the printer manufacturer’s instructions, ensuring the ribbon is seated correctly and the protective tape (if present) is removed prior to printing. Select half-panel or appropriate print settings in the printer driver or card design software to match the ribbon layout. After printing, allow the overcoat layer to cure as recommended by the printer manual before handling or encoding the card edges.

Recommendations

Store ribbons in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and strong heat sources. Use within the manufacturer’s recommended shelf life and handle by the cassette edges to avoid contact with the inked panels. For optimal results, use matching printer settings and perform periodic printer cleaning to prevent streaking and feeding issues.
