Luchtkanaalsysteem Rittal SK 3286.870 (model SK3383/84/85) voor schakelkastventilatie

Rittal air duct system SK 3286.870 (compatible with SK3383/84/85 models) is an internal ducting solution designed to direct and manage airflow inside electrical enclosures and control cabinets. The component creates defined ventilation paths that help guide warm air away from sensitive devices toward fans or vents, supporting stable operating temperatures and reliable performance of installed equipment.

Advantages

The air duct system provides structured airflow management that reduces hotspots and supports targeted cooling without altering enclosure layout. Its design is compatible with several Rittal enclosure models, allowing straightforward integration into existing cabinets. The product is engineered for industrial and commercial applications, offering durable construction suitable for continuous operation and effective protection of electronics from thermal stress.

How to use

Install the air duct system inside the enclosure following the cabinet manufacturer’s mounting points and instructions for SK3383/84/85-compatible accessories. Position the ducts to form a clear path from heat-generating components to the enclosure exhaust fan or vent, ensuring intake and exhaust streams remain separated. Confirm there is no obstruction to airflow and secure the ducting so it does not contact live parts or wiring. After installation, verify cooling performance under normal load and adjust component placement or fan settings if needed.

Recommendations

Use the ducting together with appropriately sized fans and filters to achieve efficient ventilation. Maintain periodic inspections to remove dust buildup and check that seals and mounting points remain intact. When modifying internal layouts, reassess airflow paths to ensure continued protection against overheating.
