Luchtkoeler Gembird CPU-HURACAN-ARGB-X130 12 cm zwart wit

The Gembird CPU-HURACAN-ARGB-X130 is an air cooler designed to provide efficient CPU cooling for a variety of desktop systems. It features a 120 mm fan with ARGB lighting and a rotational speed range of 800–1600 RPM to deliver balanced airflow and noise characteristics. Compact dimensions (128 mm width × 155 mm depth × 80 mm height) and a weight of 0.71 kg make this cooler compatible with many mid-tower and small-form-factor builds. The cooler is available in black and white finishes to match system aesthetics while offering a thermal design power (TDP) rating of 150 W.

Advantages

The Gembird CPU-HURACAN-ARGB-X130 combines a 120 mm fan with adjustable RPM to ensure effective heat dissipation across typical consumer and gaming CPUs without occupying excessive space inside the case. ARGB illumination adds visual customization options compatible with common motherboard controllers and RGB ecosystems. Its 150 W TDP rating supports mainstream processors under sustained load, while a relatively lightweight design simplifies installation and reduces stress on the motherboard.

Suitable for

• Cooling mainstream and mid-range desktop CPUs with up to 150 W TDP
• Compact and mid-tower PC builds where clearance is limited
• Systems requiring ARGB lighting for coordinated aesthetic control
• Users seeking a balance of airflow and moderate noise levels for everyday use and gaming

How to use

Prepare the motherboard by removing any existing cooler and cleaning the CPU surface. Fit the appropriate mounting brackets for your processor socket following the included manual, place a small, even amount of thermal paste on the CPU heatspreader, and position the cooler so the mounting hardware aligns with the holes on the motherboard. Secure the cooler using the supplied fasteners, connect the fan power cable to the CPU_FAN or SYS_FAN header, and connect the ARGB cable to a compatible ARGB controller or motherboard header. After booting, verify fan operation and lighting in BIOS or through RGB control software and monitor CPU temperatures during initial workloads to confirm stable cooling performance.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, ensure good case airflow by installing intake and exhaust fans, keep dust filters clean, and apply a high-quality thermal paste when mounting the cooler. If you plan to use high-TDP processors or perform sustained overclocking, consider monitoring temperatures under load and, if necessary, evaluate higher-capacity cooling solutions. Match the ARGB connection to your motherboard or controller specifications to avoid lighting compatibility issues.
