Luchtkoeler Gembird CPU-HURACAN-ARGB-X140 12 cm zwart wit 800-1600 t/min

The Gembird CPU-HURACAN-ARGB-X140 is an air cooler designed to provide efficient CPU cooling in desktop systems. It uses a 120 mm fan with adjustable speeds from 800 to 1600 RPM to balance airflow and acoustic performance. The cooler is available in black and white finishes and has compact dimensions (130 mm width, 123 mm depth, 86 mm height) that fit most common PC cases while supporting a variety of Intel LGA sockets.

Advantages

Compact size combined with a variable-speed 120 mm fan allows the cooler to deliver effective heat dissipation while minimizing noise. The broad socket compatibility covers several generations of Intel LGA processors, simplifying upgrades or replacements. Its dual-color option (black and white) provides flexibility for matching different system aesthetics, and the relatively low weight makes handling and installation straightforward.

How to use

Mount the cooler onto the CPU following the motherboard and cooler mounting instructions: power off the system, remove the existing cooler if present, apply an appropriate amount of thermal paste to the CPU heatspreader, align the cooler with the socket mounting points and secure it evenly. Connect the fan cable to the appropriate CPU_FAN or compatible header on the motherboard to enable speed control between 800 and 1600 RPM. Ensure there is adequate clearance in the case and confirm that airflow direction aligns with system ventilation for optimal cooling.

Recommendations

For best results, verify compatibility with your specific motherboard and case before installation. Use a high-quality thermal paste and perform periodic dust cleaning of the fan and heatsink to maintain thermal performance and low noise levels over time.
