Luchtkoeler Thermalright Phantom Spirit 120 SE ARGB 12 cm zwart

The Thermalright Phantom Spirit 120 SE ARGB 12 cm Black is a compact air cooler designed for reliable CPU temperature management in a range of desktop builds. With a 120 mm fan, a maximum airflow of 66.17 cfm and air pressure of 1.53 mmH2O, the cooler balances airflow and static pressure for typical mid-range to compact systems. The unit's dimensions (125 mm × 120 mm × 154 mm) and black finish make it suitable for cases with limited clearance while maintaining a discreet, modern appearance.

Advantages

The cooler offers an effective combination of a 120 mm ARGB fan with tuned airflow and pressure characteristics suited to heatsink fins. Its compact size and moderate weight of 0.765 kg simplify installation in small or standard towers. Broad socket compatibility supports current mainstream platforms and several legacy sockets, reducing the need to buy different coolers for different motherboards. The black finish is compatible with many system color schemes and the ARGB lighting provides customizable illumination when connected to a compatible controller or motherboard header.

Suitable for

• Compact ATX, micro‑ATX and mini‑ITX desktop builds with limited cooler height clearance
• Mainstream gaming and productivity systems requiring reliable air cooling
• Upgrading stock coolers on supported CPU sockets for improved thermal performance
• Systems where a balance of airflow and static pressure is needed for efficient heat dissipation

How to use

Mount the Thermalright Phantom Spirit 120 SE ARGB following the included installation instructions for your motherboard socket. Prepare the CPU surface and apply a compatible thermal compound, attach the cooler to the appropriate mounting bracket, and secure it with the supplied fasteners to ensure even contact with the CPU heat spreader. Connect the fan power cable to the CPU fan header and the ARGB cable to a compatible ARGB header or controller. Verify clearance with memory modules and case panels before finalizing installation.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, ensure good case airflow by pairing the Phantom Spirit 120 SE ARGB with at least one intake and one exhaust fan. Use a high-quality thermal paste and periodically check mounting tightness and dust levels. If ARGB lighting is required, connect to a motherboard or controller that supports the cooler's ARGB protocol to avoid compatibility issues.
