Luidsprekerkabel ShiverPeaks 06-18506, 1,5 mm², rol van 50 m

ShiverPeaks 06-18506 speaker cable is a 1.5 mm² low-voltage audio conductor supplied on a 50 m reel, intended for fixed or semi-permanent audio installations. The cable features a consistent conductor cross-section suitable for short- to medium-length speaker runs and multi-room audio zones, and its flexible construction allows routing along walls, skirting boards or inside conduits.

Advantages

The cable provides uniform conductor geometry that helps maintain stable signal transmission over typical domestic and light-commercial distances. Its flexibility and reel packaging simplify measurement and installation, while the stranded construction facilitates secure terminations to speaker terminals and amplifier outputs. The product is designed for use with common home audio and multi-room systems, offering a balance of ease of handling and electrical continuity.

Suitable for

• Connecting bookshelf or in-wall speakers to amplifiers and receivers
• Multi-room audio distribution and zone wiring
• Short to medium-length speaker runs in living rooms, offices or small venues
• Retrofit and new-build installations routed along skirting boards or inside conduits

Key specifications

• Conductor cross-section: 1.5 mm²
• Length: 50 m reel
• Conductor type: stranded conductor (suitable for speaker terminals)
• Insulation color: white
• Intended voltage: low-voltage audio applications
• Typical use: indoor speaker and audio wiring

How to use

Measure the required cable length for each speaker run and unroll the cable from the reel to avoid twisting. Strip an appropriate length of insulation from each conductor and terminate into speaker binding posts, spring clips or screw terminals ensuring correct polarity for left and right channels. Route the cable along walls or through conduits, avoiding tight bends and sharp edges. For runs that pass near mains wiring, maintain separation to minimize interference. Secure the cable with clips or cable ties as required and test the system at moderate volume before finalizing concealment.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use this 1.5 mm² speaker cable for speaker runs up to moderate lengths; consider larger cross-sections for long-distance runs or high-power systems. Keep polarity consistent across all connections and avoid running audio cable in parallel with mains cabling to reduce potential interference.
