Luidsprekerkabel ShiverPeaks 06-21076, 2,5 mm² geleiderdoorsnede, 10 m lengte

Speaker cable ShiverPeaks 06-21076, 2.5 mm² conductor, 10 m length is a 10‑metre audio connection cable with a 2.5 mm² conductor cross-section designed for connecting loudspeakers to amplifiers, receivers or multiroom distribution systems. The cable features a stranded conductor intended to reduce resistance and maintain signal integrity over medium distances, making it suitable for home stereo, hi‑fi and small professional installations.

Advantages

The 2.5 mm² conductor offers a balance between current carrying capacity and flexibility, providing low-resistance signal transfer for improved power delivery to loudspeakers. At 10 m length the cable supports common room-to-room routing without excessive signal loss. The stranded design allows easier handling and termination, and the cable jacket provides basic protection against abrasion and handling during installation.

Suitable for

• Connecting passive loudspeakers to amplifiers or receivers in home audio systems
• Stereo and hi‑fi setups where moderate cable length and low resistance are required
• Multiroom speaker distribution over medium distances
• Small professional audio installations and temporary stage setups

Key specifications

• Conductor cross-section: 2.5 mm²
• Length: 10 m
• Conductor type: stranded (multi‑strand) for flexibility
• Typical use: speaker cable for low-frequency audio signals
• Insulation/jacket: single outer jacket for mechanical protection

How to use

Strip an appropriate length of the outer jacket and insulation from each conductor, taking care not to damage the strands. Twist the conductor strands together and attach to the speaker and amplifier terminals using the recommended connector type (banana plug, spade, or bare wire) ensuring correct polarity. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends, heat sources and interference from power cables. For fixed installations secure the cable with clips or conduit to prevent movement.

Recommendations

For best results use the ShiverPeaks 2.5 mm² speaker cable in runs up to 10 metres between amplifier and speaker to minimize resistance-related power loss. Match cable cross-section to speaker impedance and amplifier power; when routing near mains wiring maintain separation to reduce potential interference. For permanent installations consider terminating with crimped connectors or soldered joints to ensure reliable mechanical and electrical contact.
