Luidsprekerkabel ShiverPeaks 06-211006 2,5 mm², spoel 100 m

ShiverPeaks 06-211006 speaker cable is a 2.5 mm² cross-section audio conductor supplied on a 100 m spool. Intended for fixed speaker wiring and audio installations, this cable features a stranded conductor made of copper-clad aluminum and an outer insulating sheath in white. The 2.5 mm² conductor size offers typical current-carrying capacity and low attenuation for short to moderate cable runs in home and small commercial audio systems.

Advantages

The cable combines a 2.5 mm² stranded conductor with flexible construction that facilitates routing around corners and through conduits. Being supplied on a 100 m spool reduces joins on longer runs and speeds up installation. The white outer jacket provides a neutral appearance suitable for visible or concealed mounting. The product is compatible with standard speaker terminals and binding posts used in most consumer and semi-professional audio equipment.

Suitable for

• Fixed speaker wiring in homes and apartments
• Speaker runs in small commercial spaces and meeting rooms
• Multi-room audio installations and distributed speaker systems
• Connections to amplifiers, receivers and powered speakers with standard terminals

Key specifications

• Conductor cross-section: 2.5 mm²
• Conductor type: stranded copper-clad aluminum (CCA)
• Stranding: 50 strands × 0.25 mm diameter
• Insulation/jacket color: white
• Length: 100 m on a spool
• Intended use: speaker and audio signal wiring

How to use

Measure and plan the route for the speaker cable to minimize unnecessary length and avoid running parallel to mains power cables where possible. Cut the cable from the spool to the required length and strip the outer sheath and conductor insulation to expose the required amount of conductor for the terminal connection. Use appropriate ferrules or soldered terminations, and ensure correct polarity is maintained throughout the installation. Secure the cable with clips or conduit and avoid sharp bends that could damage the conductor.

Recommendations

For best performance, keep individual speaker runs as short as practical and use the 2.5 mm² cable where the amplifier load and speaker distance make this conductor size appropriate. Avoid running the audio cable in direct contact with high-voltage power lines to reduce the risk of interference. If longer runs or lower loss are required, consider using larger cross-section conductors or installing the cable in separate conduit for improved shielding and ease of future replacement.
