Magnetisch keukenblok artelegno 86/WL — Magnetische messenhouder van walnoot

Magnetic Kitchen Block artelegno 86/WL — Walnut Wood magnetic knife holder is a wooden magnetic knife holder crafted to store and display metal kitchen knives safely and accessibly. The unit integrates a hidden magnetic strip into a walnut wood block, allowing knives to be mounted without inserting blades into slots. This design protects cutting edges, simplifies cleaning and inspection of blade condition, and provides a compact, easy-to-reach storage solution suitable for home and professional kitchens.

Advantages

The walnut wood surface offers a stable and attractive mounting area while resisting minor surface wear and providing natural grain aesthetics. The internal magnetic strip holds blades securely in place without direct contact with wood that could dull edges, and the slot-free design reduces the buildup of crumbs and moisture, making maintenance straightforward. The compact rectangular shape saves counter space and keeps knives visible and quickly accessible.

Suitable for

• Storing and displaying chef, paring and utility knives with metal blades
• Kitchen worktops where quick access to knives is required
• Small professional kitchens and home cooking areas with limited drawer space

Key specifications

• Material: walnut wood exterior with integrated magnetic strip
• Mounting method: freestanding block for countertop placement
• Compatible blade types: ferrous metal knives (steel blades)
• Design: slot-free magnetic storage that protects blade edges and simplifies cleaning
• Finish: natural walnut grain, sealed surface for basic moisture resistance

How to use

Place the magnetic block on a stable, level countertop within easy reach of your main food preparation area. Align each knife blade flat against the walnut surface so the magnetic strip secures the blade by its flat side. Position knives with tips pointing away from the user and ensure each blade is held securely before releasing. For cleaning, remove all knives and wipe the wooden surface with a damp cloth; avoid soaking the wood or using abrasive cleaners.

Recommendations

To preserve the walnut finish and magnetic strength, avoid prolonged exposure to direct water, extreme heat or sunlight. Periodically check that knives are fully dry before mounting to reduce risk of corrosion. Use the block for ferrous metal knives only and store non-magnetic or ceramic knives in appropriate alternatives.
