On the job site, your phone dies just when you need the plans. The Makita ADP15 18V LXT USB Adapter slides onto any Makita 18V LXT battery and turns it into a rugged power bank. Charge two devices at once from the batteries you already own.

Key specifications

• Compatible with Makita 18V LXT Lithium-Ion batteries (BL1815N, BL1820B, BL1830B, BL1840B, BL1850B, BL1860B)
• Two USB-A ports, each delivering 5V / 2.1A (total 4.2A)
• Built-in overload, short circuit, and low battery cut-off protection
• LED indicator shows power and battery status
• Durable ABS plastic housing; compact at 102 x 72 x 43 mm and only 110 g

Why choose it

Instead of carrying a separate power bank, use your existing Makita batteries to keep smartphones, tablets, and other USB devices charged. The adapter automatically shuts off to prevent over-discharging the battery, protecting your investment. Its rugged construction is built for job site conditions.

Ideal use cases

• Charging phones and tablets on construction sites or remote locations
• Powering small USB devices like Bluetooth speakers or headlamps
• Emergency backup power during outages or travel
• Keeping devices topped up in workshops or garages

Good to know

The ADP15 is a tool-only accessory; it requires a Makita 18V LXT battery (sold separately). It operates in temperatures from -10°C to 40°C. No cables are included – use your own USB charging cables.
