Malset Ravensburger CreArt – Cuddling Squirrels (model 25882) van Ravensburger

Ravensburger CreArt — Cuddling Squirrels is a paint-by-number painting kit that provides a ready-to-start hobby painting experience. The set contains a pre-printed canvas with numbered areas and matching acrylic paints, allowing users to reproduce the Cuddling Squirrels motif step by step. Designed for leisure painting and decorative art, the kit suits adults and older children looking to develop brush control, colour blending skills and patience while creating a framed-ready image for home or studio display.

Advantages

The paint-by-number format removes uncertainty about colour selection and composition by assigning specific colours to numbered areas on the canvas, which simplifies the painting process and reduces setup time. The set uses numbered acrylic paints that dry quickly and adhere well to the canvas surface, enabling layered work and small detail refinement. The pre-printed canvas provides clear outlines and numbered guides so even beginners can follow the stepwise progression to achieve a balanced, finished picture.

Suitable for

• Leisure and relaxation painting sessions at home
• Beginners learning basic painting techniques and brush control
• Family craft activities with older children
• Creating decorative artwork for living rooms, bedrooms or studios
• Gifting to hobbyists who prefer structured, guided projects

Key specifications

• Paint type: acrylic paints formulated for canvas use
• Canvas: pre-printed with numbered areas for guided painting
• Difficulty level: suitable for beginners and intermediate hobbyists
• Design motif: two cuddling squirrels in a naturalistic composition
• Included components: numbered canvas, corresponding numbered paint pots, brushes (various sizes), and instructions

How to use

Set up the workspace on a flat surface with good lighting and cover the area to protect from paint. Open the paint pots in order and match each numbered paint to the corresponding area on the canvas. Start painting one number at a time, working from larger areas to smaller details; allow paint to dry between layers if you plan to add depth or highlights. Use the supplied brushes according to the area size—larger brushes for broad fields and smaller brushes for fine details—and follow the printed numbers to complete the image.

Recommendations

For best results, keep the paint pots tightly closed when not in use and clean brushes with water immediately after painting. Work in thin layers to avoid clumping and to achieve smooth coverage; if necessary, apply a second coat after the first layer dries. Allow the finished canvas to dry fully before framing or hanging to prevent smudging.
