Ravensburger schilderset CreArt ART Collection Canvas Edition — Lady in Pink (PopArt)

Ravensburger 25857 is a casting and painting kit designed for ages 12 and up that combines mold making and decorative painting in a single hobby set. The kit provides materials and guided steps to cast small figures or reliefs and then paint them to produce finished decorative objects. The activity supports manual dexterity and basic model-making techniques while offering structured, stepwise instructions suitable for individual practice or supervised educational use.

Advantages

The set integrates casting and painting processes so users can complete a project from raw material to finished painted object without sourcing additional components. Clear step-by-step guidance reduces uncertainty for beginners, while the painting stage allows for personalization and practice of brush control and color application. The included casting materials are formulated for safe handling by older children and hobbyists, and the painting components are chosen to adhere to typical molded surfaces for durable results.

• Decorative craft projects such as shelf figures, small ornaments or gifts
• Supervised group workshops, school craft lessons or leisure hobby sessions

Key specifications

• Combined mold casting and painting kit for hobby use
• Recommended for ages 12 and older

• Stepwise instructions for casting, drying and painting stages
• Produces small molded figures or reliefs intended for decorative use

How to use

Unpack the components and read the instruction leaflet thoroughly before beginning. Prepare a clean, flat work surface protected from spills and ensure adequate ventilation. Mix and pour the casting material into the provided molds according to the instructions, observe recommended working and curing times, then remove the cured pieces carefully. Prepare paints and brushes; sand or smooth cast pieces lightly if recommended, then apply paint in thin layers, allowing each layer to dry before adding details or additional coats. Finish painted pieces only after full drying to avoid smudging.

Recommendations

Work in a well-ventilated area and protect clothing and surfaces. Use gloves if advised by the included instructions when handling casting compounds. For best results, apply multiple thin paint layers rather than a single thick coat and allow sufficient drying time between layers. Store leftover materials according to the manufacturer’s guidance and display finished pieces in a dry indoor environment.
